At 9:15 pm, in the inner courtyard of the historic complex, a concert entitled "The Sound of the Image" will be held. On stage for this splendid occasion will be pianist and composer Paolo Vivaldi, bassoonist Antonino Cicero and violinist Alberto Mina, accompanied by the young talents of the La Vittoria String Ensemble (Margherita Colombo, violin - Elisa Zannoni, viola - Federica Colombo, cello - Mauricio Petta Valencia, double bass). The event, created in collaboration with Fondazione Virgilio and the Municipality of Borgo Virgilio, aims to celebrate the beauty and grandeur of soundtracks for film and television, evoking images and emotions through the universal language of music. Paolo Vivaldi, a well-known Italian composer of soundtracks, received his diploma in composition from the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome with Teresa Procaccini. He personally supervises the direction of his works. He is a composer of absolute music, performed with leading Italian orchestras. Vivaldi is director of I Solisti dell'Augusteo, an ensemble made up of first parts of the Accademia di Santa Cecilia. In the 4Ever Show event concerts he conducted the Independence Orchestra in performances by Kevin Costner Modern West, Kacey Musgraves, John Legend, whose songs he orchestrated; in preparation for July 50 Cent and Mary J. Blige. He has won several Sonora - Music for the 39;image and Colonnesonore.net awards; Grifone d'oro 2016 from the city of Perugia for Luisa Spagnoli; 2016 David di Donatello nominee for Non Essere Cattivo. He teaches composition of music applied to the image at the conservatories of Latina, Monopoli and the Saint Louis Music School in Rome. Antonino Cicero graduated with honors from the "Vincenzo Bellini " Music Institute in Catania. He attended as a full student various master classes and chamber music courses taught by: Claudio Gonella, Roberto Giaccaglia, Patrizia Pane, and Francesco Bossone. He has been awarded in various national and international music competitions as a soloist and in classical chamber ensembles, He has collaborated with various Italian and foreign orchestras: He was bassoon soloist for the Houlencourt Soloists Chamber Orchestra in Brussels from 2012 to 2014. He carries out an intense solo and chamber concert activity for associations and musical institutions in Italy and abroad. Antonio Cicero is a virtuoso bassoon player not only in the usual classical contexts, but also in jazz, swing and, above all, tango, a language in which he has been working successfully for more than a decade. In January 2012 he forms the Armonia Sextet for strings and bassoon with which he tackles Piazzolla's repertoire. releasing the CD "Pasion de Bassoon," dedicated to the tango repertoire and Latin music, to great critical and public acclaim. In 2014 he founded the Atypical Danzarin Quartet, dedicated to the popularization of traditional tango music. In 2016 he recorded the CD "An Italian Tale" as a duo with Luciano Troja and original music by the same for the Almendra Music label. His musical projects have been appreciated for their quality and originality by specialized critics, and the media have also paid him considerable attention on Radio Tre, Radio Classica, Radio Mozart Italia, Radio Battiti, and Radio Nacional Clasica (Argentina). In 2021 he released two albums dedicated to tango. On the occasion of the centenary of Astor Piazzolla's birth, he produces for the prestigious Argentine label Acqua Records the album "FagotTango," in duo with Fabrizio Mocata, a project that receives great critical and public acclaim. For the same label he released the album "Un tango para vos" in duo with Fabricio Gatta, an Argentine author who composes a new repertoire of original tangos for piano and bassoon. "Da Sur a Sur" is the latest album, with Trio Atipico and Elisa Lorena, dedicated to the tradition of sung tango. Born in Rome, Alberto Mina joined the Orchestra dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia when he was 22 years old, after graduating in violin with honors from the "Santa Cecilia" Conservatory in Rome under Yvonne Ekman and specializing with Pavel Vernikov. Today he is first soloist in the Orchestra of which he has been a member for 30 years now in the role of First of Second Violins. During these years he has participated in the Orchestra's artistic growth by collaborating with great conductors and soloists of the international scene (Sawallisch, Giulini, Maazel, Chung, Gatti, Pappano), taking part in international tours and recordings with the most important production companies. Recently with the Academy soloists together with Martha Argerich and Antonio Pappano he recorded Saint-Saëns' Il carnevale degli animali (Warner Classics). He is the first violin soloist of the Cappella Ludovicea orchestra in Rome (official representative of the French Embassy to the Holy See), specializing in Baroque repertoire. L' Ensemble d'archi La Vittoria is a chamber ensemble with modular ensembles affiliated with MantovaMusica, which is regularly included in the seasonal program to collaborate with important guest artists. It was created through the selection of a group of young Under30 musical talents from the area, with the aim of fostering the professional growth of young musicians, offering them the opportunity to work alongside prominent artists and engage with them in a high-level context.
