Orobie Ultra Trail
You have to be over 18, have a “healthy, robust physique” (a doctor’s certificate is compulsory) and be incredibly fit. Because running the 140 kilometres “Orobie Ultra-Trail”, from Clusone to Upper Bergamo, in the mountains, with a total climb of 9,500 metres, without stopping, day or night, isn’t child’s play.
Don’t think it will catch on? Well listen to this – last year, people came from 22 different countries to participate in the event. Crazy. But wonderful.
