Films, book presentations, climbing walls and unmissable events with walkers, explorers, free riders, climbers and record-breaking skiers. Those who live by scaling the peaks will be centre stage for four days from 25 to 28 October in Base Milano, Via Bergognone 34.

The fourth Milano Montagna Festival will be opened by Andrzej Bargiel from Poland, the first man to descend K2 on skis. He will be followed by a long list of high-altitude heroes. Films planned for the event include international previews of Hoji and Sky Piercer, and some historical masterpieces of mountain cinematography.

This year the Festival includes Fuori Festival: a galaxy of events will be staged throughout the city throughout the week from 22 to 28 October.
