On Saturday, June 7 the not-to-be-missed event organized by the Comitato Rievocazione Storica in Monza: the re-enactment will celebrate its 44th edition this year and will be entitled "Monza A.D 1300. The First Jubilee and the Birth of the Magnificent Cathedral."

The event will open as early as the afternoon, from 4 p.m., in Piazza dell'Arengario with a medieval marketand with flight tests by talented falconers. Also ready for the little ones to play. Accompanying the fair, where it will also be possible to discover ancient crafts, such as lace-making, and take a dip into the past with the protagonists of the era, the parade of flag-wavers to announce the important event. 

As per tradition, starting from 8 pm.45, from Piazza Cambiaghi will start the procession that will be enlivened by hundreds of figures in period costume, first and foremost Queen Theodolinda with members of her court, complete with the Treasure of the Cathedral in tow, who will cross the streets of the historic center, and ending with the traditional and evocative show in Piazza Duomo. 

Here, under the spires of the Duomo, the evening will open with the customary theatrical performance, and entertaining the audience will be among others the Gothic Daridel gothic Paganfolk band. Stilt-walkers, jesters, acrobats, actors and then fireworks and miraculous animations will finally characterize the last part of the evening. The churchyard will come alive with the magical performance of the International Company of Fools accompanied by music and the unmissable flight of the Theodolindian dove on the balloon balloon.
