From the Zoia Refuge the Tour of the 3 Refuges

This very scenic and scenic route is marked with fuchsia-colored signs and poles. It starts from the Zoia Refuge and reaches the Campagneda pasture, where the Cà Runcasch Refuge is located; it then continues further to thePrabello Alp and the Cristina Refuge, which encloses a truly magical atmosphere in winter. From here follow the signs that lead back toAlpe Campagneda, passing the characteristic alpine lakes completely covered in snow. The last leg of the route is the same as the one taken on the outward journey. Although this snowshoe hike is an activity suitable for everyone, one must always remember the real avalanche danger, which is why, before leaving, we recommend consulting the avalanche bulletin or calling the mountain hutkeeper directly, who will be able to show you the most suitable routes. - Ph: Margherita Pelizzari

In Valsolda, on the Via dei Canti.

Atrail for the whole family within the Valsolda Reserve, where for a day you learn about the silences and sounds of the forest, from the roaring of deer to the chirping of birds. The route you follow in the first part of the itinerary is the Four Valleys Trail No. 3, which crosses the Soldo stream and climbs up the opposite slope, skirting the Ranco huts, until you reach the Valsolda Regional Forest. It is here that the Via dei Canti proper officially begins, which partly overlaps with what is referred to as the Wildlife Trail. Along the trail are installed about ten educational panels that illustrate flora and fauna and that and provide other useful information to learn in depth about the area traversed. A sound reproducer is also placed next to each panel, and by pressing the dedicated buttons, you can listen to the different species, so you can enjoy total immersion in the natuta. The trail's course is very gentle, leading up to Passo Stretto, a historic pass between the Solda and Rezzo valleys, continuing to the legendary Tana del lupo and continuing in the direction of the ancient settlement of Alpe Pessina now equipped as a rest area, the highest point of the Via dei Canti.
