Sanctuary of San Patrizio

This mysterious place of workshop, named after the Saint patron of Ireland, looks like a fortress, perched on a scenic spur overlooking the Seriana Valley.

Monte Aga

Rosso Bronzone in Vigolo

Here we are in front of the Vigolo Church, ready to discover another incredible local creation: Rosso Bronzone.  Lake Iseo may be best known as the home of the famous native Franciacorta DOCG wine, but Rosso Bronzone has a special history all its own.  This wine is born from small vineyards run by passionate winemakers who, having embraced the unique microclimate created by the mountain breeze, the sun's rays and the temperate lake air, are able to produce a wine with unique aromas, fragrances and flavours. Created using traditional old vine farming systems, such as pergolas on small terraces, Rosso Bronzone is a taste of history and the perfect companion for meat dishes, cured meats and cheese.

Pertus Pond

A vantage point reflecting the sky. This is how the Laghetto del Pertus appears in the eyes of hikers venturing along the paths of the Imagna Valley.   The lake, located on a vantage point overlooking the valley, can be easily reached from Forcella Alta. When in front of this rounded stretch of water, you can stop for a short break at the refreshment point or at one of the food trucks that stop in the area during the weekends to sell local products. Once the stop is over, you can continue north towards Mount Ocone (1353 metres) or south towards Mount Tesoro (1432 metres).Due to the gently sloping trail, the Pertus pond is an ideal destination for families and those who are not used to this type of activity.   (Ph: turismovalleimagna.it)
