Nordic Walking nel Parco

A green adventure

North walking was born in 1997 in the countries of northern Europe, already in 2000 in Finland the number of practitioners had surpassed jogging and now it is establishing itself very quickly in Italy as well.

Technically it consists of:
a walk practiced with special sticks that, if performed correctly, allows the use of about 85% of the muscles of the body.

The main characteristic of this discipline is the great naturalness and simplicity of execution that allows everyone and in every age group to be able to practice it without excessive physical stress without additional loads to the joints and spine (as happens, for example, with running), increasing aerobic capacity, promoting the tonicity of muscles throughout the body, improving posture, strengthening bone stability and stimulating the vegetative nervous system and therefore antibodies.

Prowalking organizes free demonstration classes and basic courses (€30.00 promotional event in agreement with the City of Monza) for the enhancement and popularization of the Nordic Walking Park trails in Monza Park.

Meeting point: Monza Park (Access to the Park from Via Lecco)
