The wine route of Franciacorta
The Wine Route of Franciacorta covers an area stretching from the western outskirts of Brescia to Lake Iseo. The indicated routes are about 80 km long, and can be covered by car, motorbike or by hiring a bike and cycling through the hills.
The Route is one of the main tourist attractions in this area, especially of wine and food tourism, related to Franciacorta Wine, an essential element and emblem of the territory. In addition to the DOC wine, the taste experience leads us to the numerous local sh restaurants (trattoria) on the nearby Lake Iseo and to the Michelin starred restaurants, where young chefs bring to life excellent recipes from the past with top reviews, always using local products. An old cattle market gave birth to meat dishes like Manzo all’olio for example – that can only be enjoyed here and nowhere else.
