Biennale Giovani Monza 2019
The event sums up in itself and carries forward the spirit of the Mostra Nazionale di Pittura Premio Città di Monza, born in the Fifties and active until the Eighties at the behest of the Rotary Club Monza, on the occasion of which they were acquired and donated to the Pinacoteca Civica of Monza works by excellent artists, such as Radice, Turcato, Birolli, Raciti, Uncini and Bonalumi.
The Comitato Premio d’Arte Città di Monza, established in 2009 under the auspices of the Municipality of Monza, brings together all the Institutions and Cultural Associations of the Territory and expresses the desire to pay attention to the young talents of the Italian art scene, to investigate the most current expressions of creativity.
Following the tradition, the Comitato has the objective of acquiring some works to expand the collections of the Pinacoteca Civica with the direct testimonies of today's art.
