Patata d'autore di Martinengo 2026 [Martinengo Potato Festival] — 2 to 13 September — Martinengo
Martinengo is celebrating one of its signature products with a programme dedicated to the Martinengo potato. The initiative, organised by the local council and tourist board, features themed dinners, tastings, workshops, performances, and cycle rides. It is an opportunity to discover the local area through local flavours and convivial moments, with events designed to engage the public and showcase the town’s culinary traditions.

Lungo il Viale – Aromas and Flavours of the Bergamo Region — 12 and 13 September — Mapello
Mapello's Sanctuary of the Madonna di Prada and Prada Avenue become the centrepiece of an event dedicated to Bergamo’s specialities and traditions. WOUND | FERITA — 1 to 27 September — Sirmione
At Palazzo Callas Exhibitions, WOUND | FERITA invites visitors to reflect on the relationship between humankind, nature and the landscape through 115 photographs by 75 Italian and European photographers. Each image is accompanied by a black-and-white version, torn and pieced back together, symbolising the wounds inflicted on the environment and the possibility of caring for it without erasing its traces.

Garda Air Show — 4 and 5 September — Desenzano del Garda
One of the summer’s most spectacular events is back at Desenzano del Garda, with the Frecce Tricolori taking centre stage in the skies above the lake. The Spiaggia d’Oro, on Via Zamboni, will be the main vantage point from which to watch the aerobatic displays. 43rd Sfida Nazionale della Zucca [National Pumpkin Challenge] — 11 to 13 September — Sale Marasino
Sale Marasino comes alive with the National Pumpkin Challenge, an event that combines competition, tradition and a sense of community. Marathon Trail Lago di Como — 26 September — Menaggio
The Marathon Trail Lago di Como takes mountain running enthusiasts to the Pre-Alps on the western shore of Lake Como. 59th Palio di Isola Dovarese 2026 — 11 to 13 September — Isola Dovarese
The Palio di Isola Dovarese transforms the village and its Gonzaga-style square into a setting inspired by 15th-century Lombardy. Historical re-enactments, costumes, music, dance, taverns and markets bring the atmosphere of the Renaissance to life through meticulous historical research. With a packed programme spread throughout the year, the Terrafiume Festival showcases the rural heritage of the Cremona plain through a range of events and initiatives. Lecco scapigliata: walks, flavours and music among villas and parks — 19 and 20 September — Lecco
Lecco scapigliata takes you on a cultural tour between Villa Gomes and Villa Ponchielli in the Maggianico district, following in the footsteps of the Scapigliatura movement. FƏST 2026 — 19 September — Lodi
FƏST is bringing a late-summer event to Parco delle Caselle, designed primarily for young people but open to everyone. Festa di San Tito [Feast of St Titus] 2026 — 5 to 15 September — Casorate Sempione
The Feast of St Titus returns to Casorate Sempione, as is traditional, ten years on from the previous event. The 2026 edition is particularly important as it marks the centenary of the first festival and the anniversary of 1600 years since the saint’s martyrdom. The village is decked out in thousands of flowers, handmade by volunteers, and hosts a range of religious, cultural and recreational events, including a running race and a dedicated exhibition.
