Between Taleggio Valley and Imagna Valley
The itinerary comes to life from the serenity of the Peghera meadow, ascending the valley floor meadows along trail 569 until it plunges into the dense forest.
Here, the path encounters the maggenghi di Piazzoli, precious vestiges of rural life still used for grazing. The ascent continues to Bocchetta del Grassello, the border point with Valle Imagna, and then touches the Canti ridge. The poetic heart of the trail is revealed at the Tre Faggi: centuries-old giants with gnarled branches that stand like silent sentinels between sky and valleys.
The descent along the Corna Bianca slope offers a privileged look at the meadows of Pia Visin, a natural balcony from which to admire the entire Taleggio Valley. Before concluding the loop, the trail reveals a jewel of local culture: an ancient Casél. In this small stone structure, spring water still flows, keeping intact that constant temperature that was once essential for the optimal maturation of milk and stracchino cheese. The trail closes by passing through the village of Peghera, with its parish church, before returning to the starting point.
