59° The festival of pink asparagus from Mezzago
For over a century, the cultivation of asparagus has been a tradition. The event combines the care of traditions with agricultural, food and wine and biological productions of the territory. The event includes a rich program of events that take place between April and early June each year: musical evenings and artistic and cultural performances, opportunities to explore current topics, fun, sports, opportunities to learn about the excellence of the area that alongside the renowned vegetable, undisputed protagonist of the whole event.
In the months of April and May is set up the typical restaurant, managed by the volunteers of the Pro Loco of Mezzago, at the historic hall of Palazzo Archinti which gives more value to the traditional cuisine through the use of asparagus in culinary preparations.
