From here, head north and take the cycle path towards Lake Segrino that, among the non-Mountain Lakes, is one of the cleanest in Europe: ride along the cycle path that makes a lap around it. Enjoy the view of spectacular reed beds and elegant water lilies floating on the water.

Then resume the cycle path of the lakes, which connects Lecco to Como and Varese by linking the banks of 14 lakes. But you don’t have to do the whole distance of the path, at least for today! Continue towards the north of Lake Como and face the most renowned area that attracts cyclists from all over Europe: the Santuario della Madonna del Ghisallo, the patron of the cyclists since 1949.

Il Passo del Ghisallo is a place celebrated by the most important competitions on two wheels; for this, it is also home to the museum of the history of Italian cycling with historical bicycles, jerseys, and trophies.
