Easy hike suitable for families and doable at all times of the year. The trail starts in the hamlet of Palù di Poggiridenti flat, near the border with Tresivio.

Once you pass the houses in the hamlet, you take a short country road that reaches the starting point at an elevation of 340m. From here the path becomes steeper and crosses the bush. Thanks to signs made by the children of the Gianni Rodari elementary school in Poggiridenti, it is possible to discover the flora and fauna of the area.

The trail requires some attention at the level of a landslide body at the foot of a greenstone quarry. Once past the short band of boulders, the trail climbs along some steep switchbacks, eventually reaching near the Vedelin Valley stream, where a small waterfall develops.

Alternating between dry stone walls and scrub, you reach an elevation of 490 meters, where you take a flat dirt track. A short climb finally leads to the Panoramica dei Castelli, on the border between Poggiridenti and Tresivio. From here it is possible to return to the starting point by retracing the outward path or to make a loop trail, reaching the Santa Casa and then descending through the vineyards.
