The green heart of Sondrio

The route starts from Bartesaghi Park, a green area of about 20 hectares equipped with various nature trails and equipped with a refreshment bar and children's play areas.

Following the bike/pedestrian path that runs along the Mallero stream, we will arrive at the path among the vineyards that leads to the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Sassella, a building dating back to the 15th century. Just above we will be able to penetrate through the ancient streets of the hamlet of Triasso, reaching the Via dei terrazzamenti, which crosses the most characteristic area of the Valtellina landscape from Tirano to Morbegno halfway up the mountainside.

Finally, passing through Piazzetta Carbonera, the ideal center of the district of Cantone, we will head toward Piazza Garibaldi and the historic center, with its palaces, museums and wonderful views.
