Along the walled city's cycling path

At the centre of the Padana plains, a few kilometres from the famous city centres such as Milan, Brescia and Bergamo, is an immersed countryside, crisscrossed by the river Adda and Serio Morto.

Here you can go hiking and bike trails that allow you to reach the neighbouring towns that are rich in history and tradition, like the walled city of Pizzighettone or simply let yourself be captivated by the surrounding nature.

The path starts from the railway station of Pizzighettone and finishes at the station of Crema. From Pizzighettone, follow the cycling path of the walled cities (città Murate) up to the tombs of death (tombe morte). During the journey, you'll pass through the towns of Formigara, San Bassano, Soresina and Genivolta. From here you'll reach Crema following the Vacchelli channel.
