The magic Varese lake region stretches across Switzerland, Piedmont and Lombardy. It is an enchanted valley framed by the superb Alpine foothills of the region of Lombardy.   The tour starts in Angera and borders the shore of Lake Maggiore, reaching Ranco and Ispra. Then, you go up the valley arriving to Brebbia, famous for its tobacco pipe museum, and to Leggiuno. From here, you take SS 394 heading to Switzerland until Cantevria (a diversion to visit Arcumeggia, a painted vilage, is possible), then you pass on SP 62 going down towards Varese, the end of this tour, where the renown Campo dei Fiori mountain can be also visited. Places to visit: Angera: The fortress, dating back to Roman times, as well as the doll museum, home to a rich collection with items spanning from the 18th century tothe present times, a one of a kind museum in Italy. Ranco: Famous Ogliari museum or transportation, a permanent outdoorexhibition where the whole history or road and railway transportation can beretraced. Ispra: Villa Castelli, Villa Quassa with Sezbare its park, Vila Brivio Sagramoso, CasaDon Guanella with a medieval tower and a "universal"clock. Leggiuno: Santa Caterina del Sasso hermitage, overhanging Lake Maggiore. Arcumeggia: he "painted village" where the houses' walls have been decorated by tamous artists. Superb views. Campo dei Fiori: the Campo dei Fiori park overlooks the Varese region; itcontains six nature reserves and is rich. Totale KM. 62 Total KM 62 in historic and religious sites. In Spring and Summer, when the office is open, we organize and promote guided tours to discover art, history and nature of Angera, its activities and local products. The excursions, with various destinations, are planned for different age of participants and levels of training. Communication In low season the website www.angera.it, social network AngeraTurismo Page and VisitAngera Instagram are active too and you also can stay in contact with us by subscribing to the fortnightly newsletter. The website is constantly updated with information, description of sites and events. Bike rental and assistence services fir cyclists In Summer, upon reservation you can rent city, mountains, e-bike, helmet, children’s seat, padlocks. We are a Bike Info Point and a small kit, supplied by Agenda 21 Laghi, is also available for small maintenance by cycle tourists. At the Tourist Infopoint you can find hiking maps, cycling routes and information we get from: Varesedoyoubike, Agenda21Laghi, in Bici in Lombardia, Lombardia in Bicicletta, Riserva MAB Ticino Val Grande Verbano, Parco del Ticino, GPS Varese. The Infopoint has the stamp Bike in Lombardy if you want to record the stages of your journey in your travel passport. Tourist Shop At the tourist shop you can find small gadgets: magnets or fabric bags with the logos of AngeraTurismo.

Alto Lago d’Iseo Tourism Office in Lovere is found in the centrally located Piazza 13 Martiri square, easily reached by any means of transport whether public or private, due to its strategic position linking Valle Camonica, all of Lake Iseo and Val Cavalina. The main services offered to visitors are:- information and distribution of materials regarding historical, naturalistic, cultural, artistic and sports issues of the specific area and the entire Bergamo province;- distribution of panoramic maps of paths and excursions for exploring the natural heritage of upper Lake Iseo;- information on lodging and dining in the upper Lake Iseo area;- information on transport and roads;- information and dispensing of sticker permits for watercraft moored in the harbours managed by the Lake Basin Authority for Lakes Iseo, Endine and Moro. The upper Lake Iseo area is found on the northern Bergamo province shore of Lake Iseo, just kilometres away from the cities of Bergamo, Brescia and Milan and from Orio al Serio, Milan-Malpensa and Linate international airports, to which it is linked by an efficient public transport network. It is a land teeming with art, history, traditions and enchanting landscapes ranging from gentle and sunny hilltops the magnificent upland of Fonteno and stunning spectacle of the Orrido: dizzying sheer rock faces plunging into the lake. Countless panoramic views can be enjoyed at Castro and the communities of Solto Collina, Fonteno and Rogno, where there's the popular cycling track with a modern bridge over the Oglio River.
