Rural settlement in Fusine

Caprini

The rural settlement of Caprini, with origins dating back to the Sixteenth century, developed horizontally on a particularly inconvenient grassy slope.

Given the limited development and the buildings layout, it is likely that only one or two families used to live in Caprini: stables and barns were located in the upper and in the lower parts of the settlement, where it's still possible to admire a nice wooden walkway and an interesting wall made of wooden boards (the latter is of recent construction). Some restoration works have been carried out.
