Santa Caterina Valfurva will be the scene of a major international sporting event: for the second time, the Valtellina resort will host a stage of the Paralympic Alpine Skiing World Cup.

Athletes from all over the world will compete on the famous Deborah Compagnoni slope in two days of downhill races, preceded by official training sessions.

The event marks an important step toward inclusion in sports and is a significant test case ahead of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Paralympic Games. Santa Caterina, already known for FIS World Cup competitions, thus confirms its central role in the international skiing scene, opening its doors to the Paralympic movement as well.
