The trasures of Pinacoteca of Brera
Of great interest and beauty on this guided tour of the Pinacoteca of Brera are also the Jesi, Vitali and Mattioli collections, which go back over part of the twentieth century, with works by Braque, Carrà, Modigliani, De Pisis, Modigliani, Morandi, De Chirico and even Picasso. The project is to add them to the future display of Palazzo Citterio as part of the project known as Grande Brera.
There is more than just the Pinacoteca… The nerve centre of the great Palazzo di Brera, built by the architect Giuseppe Piermarini in 1776, the Pinacoteca lives in harmony with other great institutions of the city of Milan, which will certainly be remembered on this guided tour: the Braidense National Library, the Observatory of Brera, the Botanical Gardens, the Lombard Institute of Sciences and Letters and the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera.
