I'll tell you about Sondrio

The route, full of unexpected beauties, starts from Piazza Campello, with the parish church of S.S. Gervasio and Protasio and Palazzo Pretorio, seat of the Municipality, and continues into the historic center, which amazes with its unexpected views, stately palaces and rural houses.

Strolling along, one encounters two museums, the precious MVSA and the brand new CAST, which reveal, with different languages, the city, the territory and its thousand-year history.

Passing through the characteristic farming district of Scarpatetti, the route reaches Castello Masegra, an ancient fortress of the city of Sondrio and home to the CAST museum, and then enters the small and characteristic villages of the hamlets, where there is an evocative atmosphere that takes us back in time. Among mule tracks surrounded by vineyards, orchards and vegetable gardens is the 15th-century church of San Bartolomeo.
