On Mount Motta from the Della Corte Refuge

We leave the car at the Rifugio della Corte (during the winter period depending on the condition of the road we leave even 40 minutes before the refuge) and continue along the agrosilvopastoral road that from the 1250 m. of the refuge takes us up to the 1700 m. of the Motta di Olano.

The descent from Motta di Olano follows the mule track, with marker number 114, that was used to load the Olano pasture.

During the summer season the pasture is still grazed by the Milesi family, where they produce Bitto cheese and mascherpe (ricotta di monte).
