Cassinetta di Lugagnano is the village of noble Milanese villas, to be discovered by bike or by boat along the Naviglio Grande.

It was the Imperial gate and is the main gateway to Milan. From it started the road to the Ancient Rome

As well as being the city’s port, in the past the Darsena was also a highly important water junction.
