THE RETURN OF ESTORRE
Opening of the section dedicated to Estorre Visconti
The new section of the Museum and Treasury of Monza Cathedral, set up to house the mummified body of Estorre Visconti, will be inaugurated on Saturday 7 November.
Upon returning from his long "trip" to Milan, during which he underwent scientific studies and investigations, the body will find its new home in the museum.
“But is Estorre still there? Where is the mummy?”. After more than three hundred years, Estorre Visconti, Lord of Monza, is ideally returned to the people of Monza not only in his body, but in his entire historical and human story: that of a leader and that of a man.
