FAI Fall Days 2026
More than 700 extraordinary sites —many of which are inaccessible or little-known— will open their doors on a special basis for the 15th edition of the FAI Fall Days, the major public event that the FAI —the Italian Environment Fund (FAI) ETS —dedicates to promoting our country’s cultural and landscape heritage, scheduled for Saturday, October 10, and Sunday, October 11, 2026, throughout Italy. The initiative, organized by FAI Delegations and Groups in every region with the essential contribution of young volunteers, invites the public to discover the immense historical, artistic, and environmental heritage that surrounds us, thanks to pay-what-you-can tours that, over two days, will bring to life a vast, widespread, and collective narrative—comprising monuments, architecture, landscapes, works of art, traditions, and stories that represent the territories and the communities that inhabit them.
From monumental buildings to theaters, from churches to educational institutions, from nature areas to castles, including art collections, examples of contemporary architecture, and unusual and intriguing sites, the variety of venues open to the public will be, as always, vast and surprising. In this edition, the FAI will devote special attention to Italian craftsmanship and “Made in Italy,” highlighting—through special openings and tours—the skills, ancient crafts, manufacturing traditions, and outstanding products which, together with historical, artistic, and landscape heritage, help define the identity of these regions and make Italy a global benchmark.
Participating in the FAI Fall Open House Days is not only an opportunity to learn about the cultural heritage that surrounds us, but also a way to make a tangible contribution to its care, protection, and promotion through the work of the FAI, whose mission you can support with a donation at every visit.
