Educational Farmhouses with the Whole Family

A great occasion to spend the day in the middle of the countryside with the whole family. By visiting Lodi's Educational Farms, children will have fun and adults will be able to relax.

Visitors can learn about the daily routine of a farm, get to know its animals and the crops resulting products of its crops. It is also a good opportunity to savor local delicacies while getting in touch with nature and its usual quiet pace.

Where shall you go to live such an experience? Head to Borgo San Giovanni, you will find Cascina Ca' dell'Acqua: and learn all about milk production.

From cow milking to the bottling process, children will get close to each stage of the production line, without forgetting about tasty snacks, fun activities and product tastings.

Agriturismo Floralia on the other hand is located in Lodi. Here you can spend the day learning about flower and fruit life cycles, or take part of its guided tours to the nearby Foresta di Pianura. Furthermore, you can have a more clear idea of what agricultural farming means, with its numerous sacrifices and great satisfaction at Tenuta Virolo in Mulazzano.

Food education routes, visits to the ecomuseum and cycling tours await at Agriturismo Le Cascine, while the San Gabriele Mulinas in Caselle Lurani is known for growing cereals and vegetables, processing milk and producing baked goods. It is the same way with Azienda Staffini in Villa Igea.

Finish with an unforgettable journey to the Parco Ittico Paradiso, a natural oasis that hosts about 20 different fish species. Children can watch them in their habitat thanks to its underwater observatories.
