What to do in Lake Iseo

What to do in Lake Iseo? It is one of the largest prealpine lakes in the country. It was the stage of The Floating Piers, a temporary installation by Bulgarian artist Christo.

If you are asking yourselves what to do, find some tranquility in its surrounding locations, discover its fantastic scenery and inspiring landscape.

The area of the Sebino has plenty to offer, be it that you wish to take a trip around or through the basin or its outskirs. Begin in Sulzano, once the starting point of the Floating Piers, then visit delightful boroughs on the Brescia or Bergamo shorelines: Sarnico, Lovere and Pisogne.

Visiting Montisola, the biggest lacustrine island in Europe is always a nice idea. Then, heading north or south you will stumble upon  Val Camonica and Franciacorta, wonderful areas where culture, nature, good food and wine await.

The following gallery is not particularly exhaustive, will provide useful tips and hints on what to do in order to live a pleasant vacation in Lake Iseo, a natural treasure in which you can enjoy a magnificent backdrop and timeless traditions all year long.
