TEATRO MANZONI -2018/2019 SEASON
The Teatro Manzoni programme of performances for the 2018/2019 season has now been released and features great Italian artists and highly-anticipated shows.
An almost year-long journey to discover comic theatre with timeless classics from esteemed playwrights such as Molière and Eduardo. Delightful stage adaptations of literary texts from, amongst others, novelists Aldo Palazzeschi and Agatha Christie.
An artistic and cultural excursion that delves into illustrious classics and original dramatic productions ... Enjoy the show!

Angela Finocchiaro in ‘Ho perso il filo’ (I’ve lost the thread)
Directed by Cristina Pezzoli - Choreography by Hervé Koubi
The season’s inauguration is entrusted to one of Italy’s most loved actresses, Angela Finocchiaro, and her new entertaining and visionary show inspired by the myth of the Labyrinth and the Minotaur with Theseus and Ariadne.

Luca De Filippo Theatrical Company in ‘Questi fantasmi!’(Oh! These ghosts!)

The tradition of Eduardo's great classics is reinvented at the Manzoni with one of the playwright’s most popular comedies that successfully balances humour with tragedy in a way that the poet Ungaretti would call ‘The joy of Shipwrecks’.

Giulio Scarpati and Valeria Solarino in ‘Misantropo’(Misanthrope)
