Once again, the historical residences and palaces of Tirano will open their doors to EroicoRosso, a three-day festival for food and wine lovers. At the crossroads of the Alps, the undisputed protagonist will be the most celebrated wine of Valtellina: the Sforzato DOCG, the first dry red passito wine worth the “Controlled and Guaranteed Denomination of Origin” status.

This year, visitors will sip a glass of wine also in Palazzo Camagni, one of the stop-overs of the two enogastronomic itineraries scheduled for Friday and Saturday, from 9 pm till midnight. In addition, the Sforzato Wine Festival will invite guests to taste some of Valtellina’s most delicious and traditional food: not only cured pork meats and preserves, but also the legendary chisciöls, i.e. buckwheat pancakes topped with Casera cheese.

Those who desire to test their sommelier skills should not miss the blind wine tasting by Sforzato Winelab, scheduled for Saturday 15. On the agenda, also the Live recipes by “Cuochi a Palazzo”.
