Join this guided tour of Lodi Vecchio and discover a small but precious Lombard city, rich in history, culture and beauty! Not far from Milan, Lodi is certainly a city that deserves a visit and that still has that timeless charm of an ancient village, where time passes slowly and peacefully.With your guide, you will visit the monumental Romanesque Cathedral and the masterpieces of the Lombard Renaissance: the Civic Temple of the Beata Vergine Incoronata. Designed by the architect Giovanni Battagio, the temple was inspired by the sacristy of San Satiro in Milan built by Donato Bramante.After lunch, you will continue your tour by visiting the Lodi Press Museum, where you will have the opportunity to get a complete overview of the history of publishing from its birth to the present day, and you will also try to print using ancient techniques!Your tour will end by visiting the church of San Francesco, a real treasure of art and beauty. The church of San Francesco is characterized by a very refined decoration, where thirteenth and fourteenth-century decorations of rare beauty emerge.
